Jane has over 20 years of experience in various types of taxation, including individual, partnership, corporate, trust, estate, and taxexempt. She also has experience in special tax compliance issues such as income tax audit representation, IRS Streamlined Compliance Procedure, reinstatement of tax-exempt status for nonprofits.

In addition to her expertise in taxation, she has extensive experience in compilation reporting, payroll tax compliance, and QuickBooks setup for small businesses in various industries.

During her free time, she enjoys watching movies with her family, shopping with her daughter, and traveling to Hawaii and Asia.

Barbara Hartman started her career in public accounting the early 80s in the Bay Area. She continued to work for a decade before staying home to raise her family. She restarted her public accounting career on the east coast working for a large national firm. She returned to her home state of California in 2011 where she worked for a small CPA firm in Modesto. Upon moving back to the Bay Area, she worked for a large multinational firm. Missing that client contact, Barbara found a job at Snow Bittleston LLP a firm with a lot of heart, soul and expertise. She loved it so much, she purchased part of Snow Bittleston LLP and the firm is now known as Snow Hartman Fong & Associates. Barbara has extensive experience assisting clients with their estate planning and trust accounting needs. In addition, she also works with high net worth individuals, and closely held businesses in a variety of industries including real estate, professional services (including medical, legal, and veterinarian), and construction. The most rewarding part of her job is to work, meet and talk with small business clients and individuals all with the objective of attaining the client’s long-term goals.
